Kite surfing holidays
Itinerary
Arrival Day Arrive into Fortaleza airport, where you will be collected
and driven to Cumbuco. You will have the evening to relax and get
to know the others on your trip.
Day 1 Today you will receive your very first kite surf lesson! 90
minutes of tuition from one of our experienced instructors in one of the
best kite spots in the world! Afterwards or beforehand you have time to
enjoy the village of Cumbuco, which up until a few years ago was an
anonymous fishing village until its kite surfing potential was
discovered. Shop, eat or visit the picturesque Laguna Cauipe where you
can watch some of the worlds top kite surfers do their thing!
Day 2 This day we awake early(ish, remember you're in Brazil now...) and
drive with the 4x4's up to our next stop. It's a great experience to
drive along the Brazilian coastline in a 4x4 surrounded by dunes with
the warm Southern Atlantic rolling onto the white sands. Our destination
is Laguna Taiba, a freshwater lagoon which is totally flat and you can
stand in most parts, the perfect place for your second lesson, and maybe
your first time in the water with a kite. Once we are done there we move
onto Paracuru. A famous kite spot with nice waves, a great restaurant
and good accommodation. We will eat and spend the night here.
Day 3
We have a lazy morning then drive a little further up to Flexiaras, endless white sandy beaches and more kite lessons here. In the evening we have a bit of a pool party at the Pousada, eat some dinner then light a fire on the beach, drink a few beers and off to bed!
Day 4+5 - Next we continue our coastal adventure to Jericocoia, Jeri, as
it's more commonly known, is the "coolest" place on this part of the
coast. With huge dunes, a great beach and the option to try sand kiting
with a buggy in the day time, and a variety of restaurants, bars and
nightclubs for the evening we will all have a great time for sure!
There's also some really chick shopping to be done. We will spend 2 days
here just chilling and having fun.
Day 6 This day we will either visit the Laguna of Jeri for some more
kiting or the National park of the area, this will depend on wind
conditions (it's get quite strong this far up the coast) and the general
consensus of the group. It's possible we can also split the group this
day too.
Day 7 Today we drive back to Cumbuco, we will have some fun on the way
and stop for food at a nice restaurant. That evening you can watch the
sunset over the dunes of Cumbuco where you can guarantee to get some
extra special photos, ones your friends will be very impressed with.
That night is some free time for you to do your thing.
Day 8 We remain in Cumbuco for this day giving you a chance to focus on
your kiting and having your fourth lesson at Laguna Cauipe.
Day 9 We go to Fortaleza today and visit Beach Park, a huge water
park with all sorts of attractions and generally have more fun!! In the
evening we have our farewell meal at an all you can eat Sushi restaurant
or something similar and afterwards it's party time!! Fortaleza has some
amazing night life and for sure you will enjoy yourself as you celebrate
new friends, new experiences and your new sport... Kitesurfing!.
Day 10 This is your last day in Brazil, quite possibly you will be
sleeping in late, after a lazy breakfast you can lay on the beach or
check out some of the shops until it's time to go to the airport.
